LEICESTER LIONS LEICESTER LIONS Leicester Lions Speedway has just come to the end of their season and has already begun planning for improvement ahead of the 2015 campaign. Sport in Profile Magazine looks back at their 2014 effort and what the future holds for them. “ There does not seem to be any reason why they cannot claim a considerably higher league position. Speaking to their official website after the event Helmsley said, ““It was a little disappointing that the meeting did not happen but it was not a total waste of time as it gave me an opportunity to have a discussion with another rider who we are interested in offering terms to and Norrie was able to sound out other options we have in mind about the possibility of riding for Leicester next season. We acknowledge that we can only go so far with team building plans because until the points limit has been decided at next month’s Annual General 48 ISSUE 02
