TEVERSAL
And it’s not just the men who get to have all the
fun! The ladies get involved as well. Coached by
Paul Wilcockson and Chantelle Mcintosh they bring
themselves into profile alongside the men, proving that
women are just as efficient as men on the pitch.
Teversal FC also has mini-soccer, with teams
available for children aged six to ten. They even have
introduction training sessions for even littler ones,
known as Tevie Tots. This is for kids aged between
four-and-a-half and six, gradually getting them more
involved in football.
However, there is very little money so youth football is
very important to the club. The volunteers running the
club have started weekly activities to raise money, such

as a Poker night and Darts and Dominoes. They are
dedicated to getting the club up and running with high
hopes for their future.
After having quite a few changes to the managers last
season, things have now settled down. The vibes from
the club are very good and they give youth footballers
a chance to play for the senior teams, which they take
with both hands. Last season six U18 players got to
play for both the 1st team and the reserves.
With young, talented players coming up through the
ranks, the outlook is optimistic.
