ACADEMY
FDA work very closely with the UK Cheerleading
Association and have not only the largest dance
school in the region but also the largest Street Cheer
movement in the country.
Crew members are aged between 10 -40 years old and
are part of competing crews – Applejax, Misdemeanor,
Bionic, Krysis and Fierce.
Competitor & Champion Coach Callie Griffiths (19)
said,
“Its such an honor to represent our county doing
something we all love, it’s amazing that Street Cheer is
sweeping Europe and we were so proud to dance for
our county and bring back some trophies”
Callie started life as an FDA participant aged 13 and
then began FDA’s training program gaining experience,
skills and qualifications. Callie is now a championship
coach and still dances and competes with FDA herself.
Callie is a huge inspiration to the young people at FDA
and a true leader in her sport.
