About the Stories
These stories were written by students at J.C. McKenna Middle School in Evansville, Wisconsin. This project was a partnership between the middle school English
and Language Arts classes and the Eager Free Public Library’s youth services department. The spooky story contest was judged by students from Dr. John Pruitt’s
English classes at University of Wisconsin-Rock County.
