Strategic Prayer for the Nations
Dear intercessors,
I invite you to make a cup of coffee or tea, kick off your shoes, and pray with me for these requests from the mission field. You might want to meditate on this verse first.
“ Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!” Psalm 46:10 ESV
Africa
• Please pray for the African summit and Village Church Planting( VCP) meetings in Kenya in October. Remember in prayer the World Intercessor s team members who will attend and pray at both meetings. Pray for all who attend these meetings and their families to be healthy and safe while they are apart.
• The VCP team in Guinea-Bissau recently held multiple training sessions on literacy and church p lanting. Pray for each person who received the training to be equipped to share what they learned.
• Do not stop praying for the more than 900 training centers in 38 countries where church planters equip pastors to make disciples in Africa. Why? Because thousands of new worshiping groups and hundreds of thousands of baptisms and decisions for Christ happen every year as a res ult of this ministry.
Asia / Pacific
• Pray for a recycled jewelry business in Asia / Oceania that supports women from difficult backgrounds. They need to find wholesale buyers and take important next steps in business paperwork. Ask God for fav or on the business, the women and their families, and the buyers.
• Intercede for this time of transition for the Japan field’ s leadership. Pray for flexibility among the missionaries and staff as they follow God’ s plan for the future.
• Pray for preparation s for the launch of a training intensive in Thailand early next year. Pray for candidates, visas, accommodations, syllabus, and every detail that will need the team’ s attention.
