ISSUE 01 selves, Roy is a vivacious drop-deadgorgeous model, played by real life Sports Illustrated model Marisa Miller and Nick is a floundering senior citizen, played by legendary James Hong (Big Trouble in Little China). They make for quite an incongruous pair, and the fights that Roy and Nick have in front of everyday people inject some much needed comedy into the film. A series of nonsensical scenes unfold and we find out that the Deados are after the Staff of Jericho, an ancient and mystical artefact, which will allow the dead to walk the earth forever thus bringing about the end of life on earth as we know it. Pretty high stakes huh? Let’s not even get into the nonexistent love story between Walker and his recently widowed wife; we simply never get enough of the couple on screen at the same time to care about their relationship. The same can be said 128 “... Men in Black did it better, and Ghostbusters did it funnier and classier.”
