Having relocated from Craft Farms and its manicured golf course views, Laurisa and Steve embraced a new rhythm of life on the water.“ We wake up every morning to this view, and it still takes our breath away,” Laurisa shares.“ From the sunrise to the moon over the harbor, it’ s just magical.”
Laurisa’ s design style is unmistakably bold— modern and abstract, with a flair for the unexpected. The home features striking artwork collected on her travels, as well as several original pieces Laurisa painted herself. But two statement fixtures truly set the tone: a Swarovski crystal chandelier in the entryway— tipping the scale at over 300 pounds— and a dining room light inspired by famed glass artist Dale Chihuly, handblown in a custom turquoise color palette to echo the hues of the Gulf.
That love of turquoise, rooted in Laurisa’ s childhood in Florida and along the Gulf Coast, is threaded throughout the home.
from art to accents, offering a serene, sophisticated nod to coastal living.
Outdoors, their recently expanded dock has become the heart of the home.“ Morning coffee with the dolphins and evening cocktails with friends— it doesn’ t get better than this,” says Laurisa. Whether fishing with Steve or entertaining in the backyard, the couple finds endless joy in the natural beauty just steps from their door.
But the charm of Terry Cove Harbor extends far beyond the views.“ This neighborhood is special,” Laurisa says.“ After the hurricane, the way everyone came together— it confirmed we were right where we were meant to be.”
With community spirit, intentional design, and the water as their constant backdrop, Laurisa and Steve have created more than a stunning home— they’ ve honored a family legacy and found their forever place by the bay.
