MEASURE SALTY SHUFFLE POKER RUN
The first-ever Salty Shuffle Charity Boat Poker Run took place this past Saturday, marking a memorable debut filled with sunshine, community spirit, and a strong sense of purpose. Boaters from across the region gathered for a day of fun on the water, stopping at 13 local restaurants along the route and drawing poker hands in support of a great cause.
Hosted in partnership with Legendary Marina and Yacht Club and Dockside Guide, the event was powered by the incredible support of presenting sponsors Legendary Marine and M & N of Alabama LLC, as well as numerous additional sponsors and vendors. Their generosity played a crucial role in making the event a success.
Volunteers braved the heat and worked tirelessly throughout the day, ensuring a smooth experience for all involved. The enthusiastic turnout from participants, combined with the collaborative effort of sponsors, partners, and local businesses, helped bring the vision to life.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the Sea Glass Initiative and its mission to end homelessness. With a promising first year behind them, organizers are already looking forward to making an even bigger impact in the future.
