For a couple of years, back when I lived in Gulf Shores, the Pulled Pork Plate from Hog Wild BBQ was a staple of my diet. Every now and again I’ d change things up and go for the Brisket or sausage, but I’ m a huge fan of pulled pork and Hog Wild always made a good one.
It’ s been a bit since I last stopped in, simply because I’ m rarely in that part of town these days. However, I needed a BBQ fix and decided to head over to the old haunt. This time I decided to go all out and get the Sampler Platter that had my beloved pulled pork, ribs, chicken, sausage, and wings. Came with a few sides as well.
I really couldn ' t have been happier. The ribs were falling off the bone, the chicken was moist and tender, the sausage had a decent kick, and the wings were excellent. I want to know who their supplier is for the wings. Like, I’ m legitimately sad I had never had their wings before.
If you’ re in Gulf Shores and craving the BBQ, you can’ t really go wrong hitting up Hog Wild.
