The 5th Annual Flora-Bama Freedom Run
Bringing together runners and walkers of all ages for a fun and festive celebration of patriotism and fitness, participants chose between a 4-mile run / walk course and a 1- mile fun run / walk. Many dressed in spirited red, white, and blue gear, truly capturing the theme of " AMERICA!" The event was held rain or shine and featured plenty of patriotic energy from start to finish. All fun run participants received finisher medals, while top performers in the 4-mile race earned first, second, and third place awards by age division, with additional recognition for the overall male and female winners. Registration included race shirts for the first 400 registrants, patriotic swag, and access to a lively post-race party with food and drinks. Proceeds from the race benefited the AHERO Foundation, supporting veterans and first responders through outdoor healing and community engagement.
