Our Trees by David Harris I am just a very little plant I bear lots of beautiful flowers. People who have me rowing near their home are very proud of me I am a beauty to behold I am just a little shrub, I am sometimes a vegetable fence around some homes I am very proud of myself When I am neatly trimmed I make your homes more beautiful I am a very sturdy tree, My branches are long and strong, My flowers are not so beautiful, Neither are my fruits edible, But I provide lots of shade. I am a great big tree, My blossoms are beautiful to behold. my fruit are delicious many of my branches are the homes of birds, My owner is very proud of me. I am a massive mahogany tree, I am tall, sturdy, old and strong, But I feel insecure, My master is planning to soon cut me down, I hope to provide furniture for many homes. SPIRITUALLY CONNECTED | 7
