Keira Dreamleaf went a-snooping to find some cool hints for upcoming Pirate101 and Wizard101 features
So everyone, I have lots of insider info that I collected!
First, KI is starting a new game! Before P101 was announced, KI listed on their website in the Careers section that they were hiring for an "all new family friendly MMO!" (which turned into P101) Now, KI has listed the same thing again!
Also, I snooped around J. Todd Coleman's fan page, and he hinted at these upcoming features and also told us fans some facts about the games! (He did say the entire thing for next year has already been pplannen)
Why did KI choose the ending “101” for their games?
Two reasons: one, the -101 moniker usually denotes education (courses are often given numbers to indicate the level of study, like English101 or Chemistry301) ... the 101 usually means "first course of study" and two: I like the alliteration. I thought it was fun to say all those Wah sounds in a row.
Concerning clothing color palates
The colors were actually selected by a focus group of kids (boys and girls) waaaaay back at the beginning of the development of Wizard101.
What was the first world? Where is Earth?
The First World existed at the beginning of Time. Earth exists waaaay far out, beyond the edge of the Spiral.
How long does it take in between worlds?
The cycle to create a new world typically takes about six months. That's from story outline to the world going live -- not from the idea. The ideas come whenever they come, and sometimes they'll be stewing for a year or two before they bubble to the surface
