Still not following my train of thought, Jeremy ran around confused. About a block away I saw an old, rusty, water fountain. Disgusting, I know, but it would do.

“Jeremy, go over to the water fountain and turn it on!”

“Bu-“. “Just go!” I interrupted. He ran over and tried pushing the button. It wasn't working. Jeremy vigirously attemptef pressing the button over and over really fast. He stuck his head under the faucet to see what the problem was. All of a sudden, the water came on, and on to Jeremy's face. As soon as he moved his head, the water came out and I redirected it towards the Flame Fairies. When the water hit them it sounded like putting a hot pot under cold water. As they disappeared, I turned and saw Jeremy coughing and sputtering.

“I hate water"

I shruged. "What can I say. The water thought you were a Flame Fairy,"

"How in the heck could it mistake me for a Flame Fairy!"

"Hmm.. I don't know. Maybe it was because before you set the trees on fire!"

"Wasn't my fault! I was pushed into the tree by a Magic Blast!"

“It’s fine, we need to get back before they realize we're gone.”

And, so the day went on with little interruption. As I left the school later that day, I noticed a shadow around the corner of the building. I decided to go and take a look, just in case. Good thing I did, because my (magical) pet dog, Thunder, got out and came to find me. Word of a purple fire breathing dog could travel fast if someone saw him. Anyways, I couldn’t walk back and have him following me home, so I teleported him and myself into my private island. Yes, we wizards get our own private islands. Pretty cool, huh! We each get one, and they are located in the sky. It’s to keep all of our magical items and pets in. I couldn’t have Thunder wandering around my house. He’d set everything on fire within minutes (by accident of course. He’s not properly trained yet). Thank goodness most magical items are fire-proof.

After dropping Thunder off, I ported home to do my homework. What I didn’t expect was 3 Esxalas at my house. Esxalas are human-like spiders. Creepy. Usually, Esxalas signal bad news. They are a large part of the Formi operation. They are some of the most powerful monsters in the magical world, and if they’re out and about, they mean business.

“Young wizard, meet your doom!” They hissed in unison.

I quickly casted a temporary force field, which protected me from a large blast of death Magic. I then ran behind a fence and tried to focus enough to make a thunderstorm. As soon as I had one dark cloud, one of them found me. The Esxala tried to blast me again, and I dodged out of the way just in time. It flew past my face. Any closer and it would have hit me. I ran down the street, only to be blocked by 2 of the Esxalas. I turned around, and I was surrounded. Luckily for me my thunderstorm was ready and 2 of them got struck by lightning. I zapped the other one with a blast of tempest Magic. They then dissipated.
