I am pleased to extend my warmest greetings to everyone taking part in the fourth annual Spice Island Cultural Festival , hosted by the Spice Island Cultural Day Association of Quebec .
This festival offers a wonderful opportunity for Caribbean Canadians to connect with their roots and to share their rich cultural heritage with the community . I am certain that the many activities and performances planned for this year ’ s event , with its theme “ Celebration of Life – Food – Fashion - Music – Culture ” – will be enjoyed by everyone in attendance .
It continues to be a challenging time for planning and hosting events . That is why I would like to thank the Spice Island Cultural Day Association of Quebec for making this year ’ s festival virtual so that it could still take place . Canada is truly a multicultural nation , made stronger and more resilient by our diversity .
