Success Story Reach Within has spent 17 years developing a model of care for child abuse and neglect that includes therapeutic Intervention for 500 + infants , children , and teens , and training in healthy attachment for 3000 + caregivers , social workers , nurses , and Child Protection Authority staff .
Their impact also includes the facilitation into independence for 50 + young adults through their Transitional Living Program and community based education for 1500 + people on the deleterious psychological and physical effects of child abuse and neglect .
The Father Mallaghan Home for Boys The Father Mallaghan Home for Boys ( FMHB ) is a residential care facility owned and operated by the Child Protection Authority of Grenada . The FMHB is designated primarily for the accommodation of boys , ranging from ages 12 to 18 years old , who have been abandoned / neglected or are vulnerable and at risk of abuse .

The Home prides itself on its ability to provide residents with a sense of home , and a physical space conducive to the implementation of psychosocial programmes .
Because the physical and mental well-being are critical to development of residents , the Father Mallaghan Home for Boys provides the opportunity for the boys to get involved in a range of recreational activities including sports , drumming , swimming , and cadet corps .
