Caribbean, and the Diaspora. Three years ago Crow traveled to Guyana where he witnessed, first-hand, the impact of HERO ' s services on vulnerable individuals, families, and communities; living in what seem like forgotten villages, in that Southern Caribbean country. Dr. John Mitchell is the current president. Crow is the official documentarian of their humanitarian work.
In recent years, Crow teamed up with Ann Ogiste-Hopkin, Barbara Brathwaite, Frances Purcell, Trevor Forester, and some top government officials within Grenada ' s Ministry of Health. Together they were instrumental in bringing a surgical team from HERO to Grenada. The team successfully performed fistula implants on seven dialysis patients; a first for Grenada. HERO returned to Grenada in 2019 doing more of the same and to set the stage for bigger and better medical initiatives. Then COVID happened. Some say that Crow is a philanthropist and humanitarian.
John Crow has embarked on a project to help our seniors. He teamed up with Grenada National Council of the Disabled, Hillary Gabriel, MBE, Director. This year he shipped a 40 foot container full of medical supplies and assistant living devices. This is the second of its kind. The first container was air-marked for the hospitals, while the 2nd focused on the Homes for the seniors, Cedar ' s( home for battered women), and people with physical challenges. This project was inspired upon the passing of Crow ' s mother-in-law in 2018, Constance " Connie " George.
The multi talented John Crow is the first and only Grenadian to be honored by Queens Borough President, Melinda Katz, during her first Black History Month celebration.
Crow is a graduate of ' Ole ' Church RC School,

JC is a former dancer / singer with famous Alafia Folk Choir from Grenville, and the Birch Grove Dance Company. Crow proudly flies the Grenadian flag wherever he goes. Somewhere archival footage exists of this Grenadian man playing the " Executioner " during the run of Caribbean Armature Night at the World Famous Apollo Theatre in Harlem. He is quite proficient around the performance arena.
Crow has been the producer & host of Caribbean Classroom Television Program for over 30 years. He also serves as a television production instructor-- in all areas of production.
Crow is married to beautiful Ann George- Alexander. Together, they have a son, Sebastian.
