Reaching for higher heights is something that Crow does almost every day, routinely going out of his way to help others. Over the years he worked with several organizations and individuals to make the " project of the moment " happen--selflessly. For example, every Christmas and Thanksgiving days, Crow works with Healing Hands Helping Broken Hearts( a Queens-based charitable organization), to feed families a hot, home-cooked meal, distribute coats, clothing and toys. In December of 2013, O Magazine featured the director, Majorie Bibbons, and the work of the organization.
Also, Crow provides support services, such as audio / video, photography compilations, for the Organization for International Development( OID), a medical outreach body that provides free medical and health services to impoverished communities all over the world.
For more than 15 years, Crow volunteered with Health & Educational Relief Organization( HERO), a non-profit medical group based in New York City. This group comprises medical professionals, students and volunteers, dedicated to improving health care in the
John Crow reaches for the highest of the high and leads by example. On this special occasion when he is being honored for his contributions to the betterment of humanity, especially young people, I congratulate and salute him on this fine achievement!
