Ian P . Grant has a collection of naturalistic photographs . Grenadian-born he has lived in Toronto for many years , and from this vantage point he had the privilege of travelling to and capturing images taken in some of the world ’ s most spectacular locales .
As a self taught photographer , he enjoys telling stories by liberating these unbelievably picturesque scenes , the colours , the moments , and the angles , that are only in the cool heat of his imagination .
Much of Grant ’ s audience , so far , have found that his warm , relaxed outdoor scenes , and his distant lazy horizons , reminds them so much of the paradise in their secretly sculpted dreams .
His image , “ Beach Blaster ” won 2nd Prize in the International Caribbean Beat Photo Competition 2000 , and his images were also selected for the feature front pages , such as “ Take One ” in the Station Gallery ’ s exhibit magazine in Whitby , “ The Gate ” in the Halton Hills Gallery exhibit , and “ Agony ” in the Art Gallery of Burlington exhibit .
He has also showcased his works at many other Art Galleries , and Auctions in Ontario .
This collection of photographs represents a small portion of beautiful stories of images that he has composed over the years .
