When asked if not media , what career path will you have chosen , Lexan ' s response was : " I am tempted to say I was chosen for this from birth but the field of tourism would come to mind since my early years of work were centered around the industry and that too brought me joy ."

Driven by past accomplishments and growth , Lexan was poised to move on to the next step in her career - to host a TV show . After a conversation with Flow , formerly known as Grenada CableVision , in 2007 the live Talk Show Chit Chat was born .
Chit Chat was dubbed as the talk show , featuring everything Grenadian and more . It covered everything from social issues , entertainment , health , and personalities . Chit Chat was the space where Lexan got to connect and network with amazing people from all parts of the world . It was a platform through which she was introduced to Grenadians in the diaspora who were doing great things and she needed to let other Grenadians know . The show ran twice weekly for 10 years . Its last episode was June 2017 . Lexan admints that there are many great memories but the core of the experience was the chance for her to connect with people from all walks of life who had a story to tell . That meant a lot .
