John is a graduate of the University of Quebec where he studied theology and of Concordia University , where he studied language . For several years he taught English & French , at both the elementary and adult levels . He served as Honorary Consul of Grenada in Montreal for 13 years , and continues to be very active in the community as vice-president of Grenada ’ s
National ’ s Association of Montreal and as a member of the board of directors of the Black Community Association of Cote-des-Neiges and the Spice Island Cultural Day Association of Quebec .
