Bonified is a Grenadian-Canadian family oriented man . His music compromises of groovy-soca , power-soca and a dancehall RNB mix . He is a recording artist and songwriter .
Having a background in dance which has been influenced by Michael Jackson , he tried to mimic this legend ’ s talent but was not finding his voice . Luckily , a friend introduced him to a Soca Rhythm , so he matched it to his energetic voice to make the crowds move to this Island beat .
His energy and dance moves attracted a following so he decided to perfect his voice and train to match his tone to different types of soca and dancehall rhythms .
He has participated in the coveted selection process for Soca Monarch in Grenada , has placed well in the preliminaries and dreamt of taking that stage amongst the greats in the Grenadian competition .
Bonified ’ s stage presence can be described as a combination of Michael Jackson ’ s artistry , Blazer Dan ’ s messages in his soca songs and Mr . Killa ’ s hype and tone of voice which electrifies .
