it had on their lives . I had forgotten most of these interactions so being reminded were very pleasantly surprised . My plea to them is simple . That they give to others that they come across , in the same way that they had received . In other words , pay it forward .
Q : Where do you see yourself and community in the next 5 – 10 years ?
A : I would like to set up a non-profit organization in Grenada to advance my work in Asset Based Community Development and continue to provide a range of services that use my expertise .
Q : What are your parting words of wisdom to our community … humanity .
A : Surviving the COVID-19 gives all of us special opportunities for deeper reflection on our lives . To extract lessons for the road ahead and do better in how we live and care for each other as well as our community and humanity . As if that were not enough , we now watch the tragedy that is the invasion of Ukraine unfold before our very eyes in this 21st century . We watch man ’ s inhumanity to man . What lessons do we take away and how do we all take steps to not replicate that ? Are we trying to get the lessons and how will that inform our individual and collective way forward ? Crises are terrible things to waste .
