Executive chefs and home cooks from the diaspora will also present live demonstrations and showcase their cuisine at various vendors ’ kiosks .
The closing ceremony on July 10 will be filled with live music , eating , dancing and celebrating the first Culinary Capital of the world with an Oil Down Cook-off by visiting chefs , held at Greenz Restaurant Parking Lot . Tickets are $ 30 and can be purchased on Eventbrite or at Greenz Restaurant in Lachine .

Live performances from Calypso and Soca Artists from Grenada will also join the festivities . Guests include : King Scholar ( Grenada ), KennyC ( Canada ), Jab Jab Orchestra ( Montreal ), West Can Dancers ( Montreal ), Caribbean Voices ( Montreal ), Spice Island Kids ( Montreal ), Fashion presentation from Spicechick ( Montreal ) and more .
On July 9 , the day will come to a close with acrobatics , aerials and full-out fun with colourful ,
high-flying performances from MONTRÉAL COMPLÈTEMENT CIRQUE . Festival goers will
enjoy astonishing aerials and mind-blowing performances by the most talented circus
performers in Montreal , all surrounding a 50-foot steel statue meant to help bring people together to celebrate the arts .
The festival will be hosted by bilingual MCs Junior George , of Ride Along Live ( New York ), and Michael Farkas , President of Black History Month .
