Chef Richard Taitt is co-owner and chef of a successful Southern inspired Bistro , located in the west island of Montreal . The restaurant has received rave reviews in English and French by some of the city ’ s top food critics
Bistro Nolah has been in operation over 10 years with clients coming from all destinations which is unheard of for a restaurant located in the West Island . It ’ s a tribute to a particular style of food . The service standards have set the bar for other restaurants in the area , plus the ambiance of the restaurant is elegant and refreshing all at once especially dining on the patio during the summer , as highlighted in several food publications .
Chef Richard Taitt , a native of Barbados , who enjoys cooking with Grenadian spices , is a culinary graduate of the Pearson Culinary Program ( now called PACC ). He finished top

of his class , placed second in qualifying for the Montreal Culinary Olympics , and has participated in other events around the City of Montreal .
Chef Richard has had the honor of doing his culinary stage with renowned Montreal Chef Claude Pelletier . He learnt his craft of cooking southern food from the late Chef Michael Minorgan of Mesquite Restaurant and Benedicts .
Chef Richard perfected his craft at various restaurants around the city of Montreal before opening up Bistro Nolah with his partners .
