This festival offers a wonderful opportunity for Caribbean Canadians to connect with their roots and to share their rich cultural heritage with the community . I am certain that the many activities and performances planned for this year ’ s event will be enjoyed by everyone in attendance .
I would like to commend the SICDAQ for its hard work in organizing this year ’ s event and for its commitment to promoting cultural exchange . Canada is truly a multicultural nation , made stronger and more resilient by our diversity .
