Chinadoll D . Julien
Founder of Miss Caribbean USA Summer Body Pageant LLC
Chinadoll D . Julien is a Grenadian from the big Parish , St . Andrew . She grew up in the largest village , Telescope , also in the parish of St . Andrew .
A past student of the St . Andrew ’ s Anglican Primary and the Grenville Secondary School , Ms . Julien first graced the stage at the age of eight where she walked away with her first crown . From then , she participated in numerous local and regional pageants under B . I . T . S . Modeling Agency , ( Beauty , Intelligence , Talent , and Skills ), in Grenville St . Andrew , which was managed by the late Sander Grant and Tricia Grant-Lewis .
Some of her accomplishments include 1st Runner-up at the 1999 Ms . Teen Rainbow City pageant ; 1st Runner-up 2001 Miss Rainbow City Afro Queen Show ; 1st Runner-up 2006 Miss Carriacou Carnival Queen Show ; 1st place winner in Ms . Easter Val pageant Union Island , Petite Martinique , Canouan . From there she started dancing as a solo dancer and made her debut at the Grenada Talent Search Competition as guest performer and the lone female dancer . Chinadoll made her name in dance by competing in local dance competitions and walked victorious . In 2013 , she was nominated for the youth award by the Ministry of Youth for her outstanding contributions to culture .
Ms . Julien started her career as a dance assistant at the Ministry of Culture for six years , teaching dance in the local schools . She started her own Dance Company “ Rainbow Charms Dance Company ” under the Ministry ’ s outreach program , performing in local events on the Island .
Ms . Julien is also a past employee at the luxury Sandals La Source Grenada as the Dance Captain and got the opportunity to travel to Jamaica to represent Grenada in the dance category , where she made a mark for herself and her team .
In 2015 , Ms . Julien migrated to the United States where she became certified as a fitness instructor and nutritionist under the International Sports Science Association in Brooklyn , New York . She currently hosts her weekly workout program : “ Danceoffsize Cardio Workout LLC ”.
Besides dancing , Ms . Julien has a passion for working with children , hence the reason starting The RBC NY LILIES , which has been active for the past 6 years .
In 2018 , Ms . Julien and her husband started the first Miss Caribbean USA Summer Body Pageant LLC , the only Swimsuit Pageant in Brooklyn NY , under the theme : Empowering Women to feel comfortable in their own skin , as we bring the Caribbean and the US together . This pageant is very dear to her heart .
