Looking to the future , what trends do you see emerging in destination management and how are you preparing your sales strategy to capitalize on these trends ? I see a shift from destination marketing to destination management . This means that destination organizations are not only promoting their destinations , but also taking a more active role in improving the quality and diversity of their products , services , and experiences . Challenges and opportunities posed by global issues such as climate change , social equity , health and safety , and digital transformation are continuously being addressed . I also see a focus on sustainable and responsible tourism . This means that destination organizations are adopting strategies and practices that minimize the negative impacts and maximize the positive impacts of tourism on the environment , society , culture , and economy of their destinations . This includes promoting green practices , supporting local communities , preserving natural and cultural heritage , and enhancing visitor awareness and satisfaction .
I plan to rely on our Research and Planning department in Grenada to conduct market research and analysis that will be used to understand the needs and expectations of our target segments , as well as our competitors ’

Designing a marketing mix including a very clear value proposition that differentiates Grenada from other destinations is important . It is also important to identify visitor ’ s interest to recommend products , services , and experiences in Grenada .
Outside of work , what are some of your personal interests or passions , and how do they influence your professional life ? Outside of work , some of my personal interests or passions are spending time with my family , traveling , cycling and watching track and field sports . I value the quality time I have with my family and the memories we create together . I also enjoy discovering new destinations and cultures and expanding my horizons . Cycling and watching track and field sports are hobbies that keep me fit and entertained . These interests influence my professional life in various ways . First , they help me maintain a healthy work-life balance and reduce stress . Second , they inspire me to be more curious and adventurous in my work and to embrace new challenges and opportunities . Third , they encourage me to be more disciplined and goal-oriented in my career and to strive for excellence and improvement .
