Christopher Antoine started his career at the age of 12 singing at the St Andrew Junior calypso competition . He had not been able to compete in the National Junior calypso competition because at that time there was none . But because of his love for calypso and his persistency he got himself recruited to sing with a calypso tent in 1980 , known as African Temple .
The following years 1981 and 1982 , he was then drafted to sing with another well- known calypso tent called Calypso Castle . There he also made a great impact and was the youngest Calypsonian singing in calypso tents at that time .
In 1983 Christopher left the calypso arena for three years undergoing vocational studies in Germany . He returned in 1986 and was instantly a force to be reckoned with . He then captured the National Road March in 1987 with the most popular song on the island called " To Cock-ah-Hole ".
In 1988 he was once again one of the strongest competitors both in Calypso and Soca with a very popular song called " Put the thing in a plastic ". So as to be precise , his consistency brought him many positions in the National competitions , numerous trophies , plaques along with several international shows throughout Europe , USA , Canada and the Caribbean . He is also the first “ Young King of
Grenada ” capturing the title in 1991 and still is , as that competition has never been held thereafter .

Those songs and some of his past performances can be found on You Tube .
