50 YEARS OF RACING
The Grand Prix de Monaco Historique is designed for worldwide collectors,
nostalgic enthusiasts, drivers, spectators, mechanics and ardent supporters of form
days’ who were on hand for what has now become a world event of the highest or
Drivers and teams take the entire weekend very seriously, with some top drivers
in the mix and quality racing was witnessed in all the classes. The flagship Race G
boasted an impressive entry of 43 cars!
Organized since 1997 by the Automobile Club de Monaco, this “biennial” event
took place two weeks before the Grand Prix de Monaco de Formule 1.
Within two and a half days, from Friday 13 May to Sunday, May 15, 2016,
the Principality of Monaco was transformed into a real temple of motor racing,
turning back the clock on a wonderful era. Over 50 years of motor racing that was
commemorated and celebrated, during the course of the weekend, through eight
exceptional series:
