Peacock heads Verdant
Verdant Specialty Solutions has named Bob Peacock as its new CEO. Peacock joined the company in August 2025 as vice president of manufacturing, following 30 years of leadership experience in speciality chemicals and process manufacturing at companies including Stepan, P2 Science and DuPont.
Del Priore joins PHT
PHT International has welcomed Alex Del Priore as its new president. Del Priore has over three decades of leadership experience in the life sciences, pharmaceutical, and CDMO industries, most recently at Indian CRDMO Syngene International, which recently recruited Siddharth Mittal from Biocon as its new CEO and managing director after Peter Bains completed his tenure.
Cabot promotes McLaughlin
Sean Keohane is to retire as president and CEO of Cabot from 30 September. His successor will be Erica McLaughlin, currently EVP, CFO and head of corporate strategy. McLaughlin joined Cabot in 2002 and has held a broad range of senior leadership positions within its finance and strategy organisations and Reinforcement Materials business.
Montanha takes combined role
Siegfried has appointed Eduardo Montanha as COO and member of the executive committee. This follows a recent decision to combine the COO roles for Drug Substances and Drug Products. Montanha has more than 20 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, most recently as head of global technical operations and quality at Fresenius Kabi.
Cimitan rejoins Lonza
Samanta Cimitan has returned to Lonza as chief commercial officer, having most recently been CEO of the biologics CDMO Celonic Group. In her first stint with the company she spent 13 years in various sales and strategy roles up to vice president of group operations strategy, and led transformation programs in sales, R & D and manufacturing.
Bourduin is new CPChem CFO
CPChem has named Wayne Borduin as EVP and CFO in place of Darren Ercolani, who is retiring after more than 30 years with CPChem and Phillips Petroleum. Borduin is joining CPChem from its parent firm Chevron, where he most recently served as director and chief investment officer.
Miller will head IMCD US
The IMCD Group has appointed Vlad Miller as president for the US. After a career in banking, including senior finance roles at Sherwin- Williams, Miller joined IMCD US in 2018 as VP of Finance. In 2022, his role expanded to cover operations. Most recently, he led the US business on an interim basis for five months.
