Where did it begin ?
Arran was founded in 1984 by Dr Anthony Owens , a talented and energetic entrepreneur and chartered chemical engineer , in facilities at Galway University . The company was named after the beautiful Aran Islands just off the coast of Galway , highlighting its Irish roots . The company soon outgrew the facilities in Galway and moved to its Athlone
