The world ’ s largest event in the pharmaceutical space returns to Barcelona in late October
CPHI Barcelona , the world ’ s largest exhibition in the pharmaceuticals industry , takes place on 24-26 October this year at Fira Barcelona Gran Via . Opening hours are 09.00-18.30 on the first two days and 09.00-16.00 on the last . The organiser , Informa , expect it to top last year ’ s total attendance of 40,405 , including 21,137 visitors , to see 1,846 exhibiting companies .
The in-person show is now part of an all-year-round experience . Ahead of it , participants can use the event platform , Discover , to make connections with others , discover companies and products , engage with like-minded professionals and learn from industry leaders .
On the show floor , you can navigate the event through the different zones and connect with exhibitors , attend seminars and pre-arranged meetings and source new suppliers . CPHI
Barcelona offers different pass options that you choose when you register as a visitor , all of which give access to online and in-person events :
• Standard (€ 129 )
• Explorer , providing more networking time with early access to the event and access to the meeting services (€ 229 )
• VIP , with access to reserved spaces , refreshments and more (€ 549 ) The show is laid out in zones . From the main south entrance , the halls are as follows . The Finished Dosage Forms zone is in Halls 1 and 2 , with Packaging & Drug Delivery also in Hall 2 . Contract Manufacturing & Services occupies both sides of Hall 3 , with Biopharma Production and Pharmaceutical Manufacturing & Equipment to the back on either side . Halls 4 and 5 are home to Integrated Pharma and Excipients , while APIs occupy Halls 6,7 and 8.1 . The General Pharma category is in Hall 8.0 .
Finally , via the event platform and CPHI Online , you can watch conference content on-demand , follow up on introductions and network with other members . CPHI Online received 280,000 unique visitors in the past year and has nearly 3,000 qualified buyers among its members . Basic membership is free , giving a basic listing on CPHI Online with limited features . Other kinds of membership are available on a sliding scale up to Platinum (€ 5,900 / year ) for those looking to generate high quality , high volume leads .
One new feature this year , in Hall 3 , is the Start-Up Market , a dedicated space brining together start-ups , innovators and small enterprises from the pharma , biopharma , digital and medical device sectors .
