The world ' s largest chemical regulation event is back at the end of October

By far the most important conferences in the chemical regulation field , the ChemCon events have traditionally rotated in a two-year cycle , taking in Europe , North America and Asia . Following the disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic , ChemCon Europe returns for the first time since November 2018 to take place at the Park Plaza London Riverbank on 25-29 October . Registration runs until 8 October . The organiser , a non-profit based in the Netherlands , describes ChemCon Europe 2021 as “ a global platform , which brings together many experts representing companies , authorities and international organisations from over 25 countries ”. It will feature presentations given by over 50 speakers from governments and industry , covering legislation like REACH , TSCA and GHS , plus countryspecific information on inventories , labelling requirements and more The week of ChemCon Europe begins with two seminars on Monday 25 . One in the morning covers UK REACH and other UK regulations , in terms of the legal framework and their implementation by and impact on the industry . In the afternoon come two more on ‘ Data-Driven Regulatory Roadmap ’. These are priced at € 350 each and are preceded by a free workshop on ‘ REACH ( EU , UK , Turkey ) - Registration & IT Tools ’. The conference proper runs from 26 to 29 October in 14 discrete sessions . Attendance costs € 2,700 .
