EVENT PREVIEW
Savannah hosts Chemicals America
Specialty & Agro Chemicals America is back in its usual slot in one of the US’ s most beautiful cities in June
Specialty & Agro Chemicals America, also known as just Chemicals America, takes place once again in Savannah, Georgia, on 29-31 July. As before, the events will be split across the Westin Savannah Resort and the adjacent Savannah Convention Centre.
The show has grown on the back of the‘ reshoring’ trend, further strengthened by the advance of new applications involving the high-technology, high-value end of the market, most of which is served by domestic suppliers.
The exhibitor base is exclusively made up of those with significant manufacturing, service or sales operations in North America. The attendance is thus overwhelmingly from North America. In 2024, they accounted for 96 % of the total attendee base of 1,844. Of these 1,088 were visitors and 756 from exhibitors.
Exhibitors offer services in the areas of:
• Speciality & fine chemical manufacturing
• Agrochemical actives, intermediates & inerts
• Custom chemical & toll manufacturing
• Chemical toll processing & formulation services
• Chemical packaging materials & services
• Chemical R & D services
• Process equipment, containers & technology
• Distribution, logistics & supply chain services
Registration for visitors and exhibitors alike costs $ 450 per person up to 1 July and thereafter $ 475. This includes full access to all exhibits, supplier showcases, conference presentations, and the breakfasts, lunches and receptions listed below, as well as the online networking portal to connect with other attendees and set up meetings prior to the show.
Specialty & Agro Chemicals is based around informal company showcase presentations and over 250 tabletop exhibits, with numerous networking opportunities around cocktail receptions, lunches and breakfasts on the show floor. There are also presentations covering market trends, but evenings are always free.
The week begins on Monday 28 July with a golf tournament and reception organised by Ben Jones of Century Global with Percepture at the Crosswinds Golf Club from 12.30. Exhibitor set-up and show registration also start at the convention centre and continue on Tuesday 29.
