ADVERTORIAL
Built For Times Like These
In today’ s volatile global market, International Process Plants( IPP) stands out as the trusted partner for manufacturers looking to move quickly, cut costs and expand capacity. Jan Gale, executive vice president, and Ron Gale, president, told us how IPP became the world’ s largest seller of complete process plants and equipment— and why experience matters now more than ever
The IPP Team has been in business for nearly 50 years. How did the company build such a global reputation?
Jan Gale: It’ s simple: the people at IPP deliver real results. We have listened to our customers’ needs for our 47 years in business. We have grown from selling small pieces of used equipment to becoming the world’ s largest seller of used process plants and equipment. IPP has always focused on providing manufacturers with immediate, practical solutions— whether that means a complete plant for relocation, a ready-to-ship piece of used or new equipment, or consulting support. Customers have learned they could depend on IPP to move fast and save them significant capital and time, all while keeping projects on schedule. We’ ve grown by solving problems others could not.
What sets IPP apart in times like these, when markets are unpredictable, and costs are rising?
Ron Gale: Today’ s environment demands flexibility and that’ s where we excel. We own and control more than 15,000 pieces of ready-to-ship process equipment, over 110 process units and 20 complete manufacturing sites, as well as our own glass-lining facilities. When companies want to add capacity now— not 18 months from now— they call us. They know we can help them bypass supply chain delays, avoid tariffs and get back into production quickly and affordably.
And we continue to evolve with the IPP group of companies. Universal Glasteel Equipment is now National Board certified in our South Carolina location, reducing the time for reglassing or shipping good used and new glass. Then there’ s Gale Process Solutions, a growing source of new process equipment.
How does buying from IPP compare to sourcing new equipment or building a new facility?
Jan Gale: The numbers speak for themselves. When buying complete plants, customers can save up to 70 % compared to the cost of new equipment and engineering. With good used equipment they can save 50 % on price and 90 % of lead-time. Also, with Gale Process Solutions, our customers can save 20 % on the typical price and 40-95 % on leadtime for new process equipment. In this market, that’ s a massive competitive advantage.
IPP operates worldwide. Why is that important for companies looking for stability?
Ron Gale: The global reach of IPP, UGE and GPS gives our clients options. We operate in 15 countries and our team understands the regulatory, logistical and commercial challenges in every region. That means we can match customers with the right assets, whether they’ re looking in the US, Europe, the Middle East or Asia.
We also buy plants for cash and can take on environmental remediation obligations, saving sellers years in disposing of used assets. This makes us a true one-stop shop for complex projects.
How does IPP ensure the equipment it sells meets customer needs?
Jan Gale: The Assets we offer from our warehouses undergoe a comprehensive evaluation, including inspection and documentation. Our reputation is built on trust from delivering quality every time. We can also help with reconfiguration and relocation.
You get the last word, Ron: Why should manufacturers turn to IPP right now?
Ron Gale: Because in a world of uncertainty, experience matters— and IPP is ready to help you move faster, smarter and with greater confidence in saving time and money as compared to other supply chain methods. IPP brings the most value to our customers when we understand the short-term, medium-term and long-term growth plans. We then look for those technical fits for customers. We are not a consulting company and we don’ t charge for the service. We’ ll make money when we find the best technical fit for our customers at the right price and delivery for them.
