Düsseldorf hosts Chemspec Europe
The main international exhibition for fine and speciality chemicals in Europe is back in Germany in June .
Chemspec Europe 2024 , the 37th version of the long-running international exhibition for fine and speciality chemicals , will take place on 19-20 June 2024 in Hall 3 at Messe Düsseldorf in Germany , the first time it has taken place in the city since 2005 . The opening hours are from 9.00 to 17.00 on both days . As ever , Speciality Chemicals Magazine is among the media partners .
Visitors should note that attendance is no longer free of charge . Before 5 June , the early bird ticket price of € 50 is available , after which it increases to € 85 . On-site ticket purchases cost € 100 . Visitors are also advised to book hotel accommodation soon , as demand for hotel rooms in and around Düsseldorf is expected to be especially high over summer 2024 due to Germany hosting Euro 2024 .
The organisers , RX , describe Chemspec Europe as “ the meeting point to find new suppliers , enhance existing business relationships , network with industry experts and discover the trends and innovations driving the fine and speciality chemical industry forwards ”. As of April , there were just over 300 exhibitors from the full spectrum of the fine and speciality chemicals industries , notably Arxada , CABB , ESIM Chemicals , Midas Pharma , Robinson Brothers , Saltigo , Seqens , SOCMA and Weylchem .
Chemspec Europe offers a matchmaking programme to enhance visitors ' networking opportunities on-site . The platform aims to connect visitors with exhibitors sharing complementary buyer and seller interests and allowing them to arrange meetings ahead of the event . The Visitor Plus ticket , allowing for access to this , is priced at € 250 and is subject to availability .
The conference programme takes place in dedicated theatres on the show floor , with all presentations free to attend . Not all slots were confirmed at the time of going to press and some of the timings may change , so please consult the website nearer to show time .
