PA 6,6
With UL-94 V0 , GFR PA 6,6 , the methodology employed was based on five cycles of concomitant injection moulding and mechanical recycling . The first cycle involved freshly compounded material , while the following four cycles were performed by mixing 50 % of the initial , fresh compound with 50 % recycled material from the previous cycle . Six 30 % GFR PA 6,6 formulations were tested : 1 . No FR 2 . Brominated polystyrene & antimony trioxide ( ATO ) as synergist
3 . Brominated polystyrene & alternative synergist , ATO-free
4 . High molecular weight ( MW ) brominated epoxy & ATO as synergist
5 . High MW brominated & alternative synergist , ATO-free
6 . Diethyl phosphinate aluminum ( DEPAL ) FR
