We take a look ahead at the key chemical regulation conference , which returns to the UK in June

The ChemCon conferences , which rotate around Europe , North America and Asia , are the most important dedicated events in the field of international chemical legislation , bringing together regulatory experts and business leaders from companies , authorities and international organisations . After two postponements caused by the COVID-19 pandemic , ChemCon Europe will take place for the first time in four years on 21-25 June 2022 . A full agenda is available on the dedicated website . The venue is the Park Plaza London Riverbank Hotel in London , on the Albert Embankment close to the River Thames . Guestrooms at special rates are reserved for the conference period . Registration runs until 3 June 2022 . Individual registration costs € 2,700 , with discounts for group bookings . The week begins on Monday 21 June , with two seminars , each of two sessions , which are charged separately at € 300 each . They are preceded by a workshop that is free to attend for any delegates who have booked the seminars and / or the main conference . The conference proper then runs from Tuesday 22 to Friday 25 June , with 15 sessions dedicated to specific themes , all with multiple presentations by experts and some including panel sessions .

The exhibition accompanying the conference sessions will be open from 21 to 24 June . Different packages are available and the numbers are limited to ensure high visibility for those who do take a stand , from a basic display package at € 1,500 up to a full partner package at € 15,000 . As with all events in these uncertain times , the organisers say that they expect all delegates to be either vaccinated or have a negative COVID-19 test result , in line with the UK regulations at the time of writing .
