EVENT PREVIEW

Networking in New Jersey

ChemOutsourcing takes place again this September. We take a look ahead

ChemOutsourcing will take place at the Hilton Hotel in Parsippany, New Jersey, on 2-5 September. It is expected to have the usual 120 + exhibitors and over 1,000 exhibitors and visitors from around 30 countries. Typically 57 % come from the Americas, 22 % from Europe and 21 % from Asia. As usual, Speciality Chemicals Magazine is among the media partners and our global agent Ben Jones will be present throughout.

Described by its organiser, Apaporis, as“ the premier CDMO USA-based pharmaceutical ingredients and services show”, ChemOutsourcing has taken place every September since 2007 with the aim of connecting global small molecule and biologics manufacturing with qualified buyers. The spotlight this year includes small molecules, peptides, antibody-drug conjugates and related biologics.
“ It is the only time during the year when large numbers of sourcing managers from pharmaceutical and biotech managers gather to interact among themselves,” claims Apaporis.“ It is the only small molecule chemical sourcing event that combines both high-quality information and networking”
The event format revolves around small, no-frills exhibit booths and free private meeting rooms for customer meetings, combined with conference sessions and multiple networking opportunities. Rates are $ 595 for each full day. All passes, including exhibitor passes, include full access to meals and refreshments. The website lists all registered buyers by job title and affiliation, as well as the exhibitors.
ChemOutsourcing’ s focus is on the whole API development supply chain, spanning raw materials, registered starting materials, catalysts, drug discovery, process and chemical development, analytical, QA and QC, intermediates and commercial manufacturing of branded and generic small molecule APIs and drug product.
The attendees are mostly executive buyers from pharmaceutical companies and consultancies responsible for sourcing starting materials, intermediates and APIs. All of them, Apaporis says, are experienced in working with CROs and CDMOs from North America, Europe and Asia.
The week of ChemOutsourcing 2025 begins on Tuesday 2 September, with exhibitor set-up and three workshops from 14.00 to 17.00, ahead of the welcome reception from 17.00 to 20.00. These comprise:
