ChemOutsourcing takes place again this September . We take a look ahead
ChemOutsourcing , the largest and longest-running USbased API and pharmaceutical ingredients , will take place at the Hilton Hotel in Parsippany , New Jersey , on 3-6 September . It is expected to have the usual 130 + exhibitors and some 700-800 attendees from around 30 countries . As usual , Speciality Chemicals Magazine is among the media partners and our global agent Ben Jones will be present throughout .
“ It is the only time during the year when large numbers of sourcing managers from pharmaceutical and biotech managers gather to interact among themselves ,” claims the organiser , Apaporis . “ It is the only small molecule chemical sourcing event that combines both high-quality information and networking ”
The event format revolves around small , no-frills exhibit booths and private meeting rooms for customer meetings , combined with conference sessions and multiple networking opportunities . Rates are $ 595 for each full day . All passes , including exhibitor passes , come with full access to meals and refreshments . The website lists all registered buyers by job title and affiliation , as well as the exhibitors .
ChemOutsourcing ’ s focus is on the whole API development supply chain , spanning raw materials , registered starting materials , catalysts , drug discovery , process and chemical development , analytical , QA and QC , intermediates and commercial manufacturing of branded and generic small molecule APIs and drug products .
The attendees are mostly executive buyers from pharmaceutical companies and consultancies responsible for sourcing starting materials , intermediates and APIs .
All of them , Apaporis says , are experienced in working with CROs and CDMOs from North America , Europe and Asia .
The week of ChemOutsourcing 2024 begins on Tuesday , 3 September , with exhibitor set-up from 11.00 to 20.00 . Private meeting rooms open from 11.00 to 20.00 and there will be a welcome reception from 16.00 to 20.00 .
On the following two days , the private meeting rooms and exhibit halls will be open from 7.30 to 18.00 and the real business begins . Lunch and coffee breaks on the show floor will offer further networking opportunities . Wednesday 4 September sees the following conference content on the show floor :

• 15.30-16.15 – Panel discussion on GLP-1-Based Therapeutics
Sourcing , moderated by Robert Geiger , Senior Director of Business Development at Jiuzhou Pharmaceuticals / Raybow USA with panellists from Polypeptide , Aurorim , CPC Scientific and Global Pharma Partners The day ends with the perennial casino night party from 17.30 to 20.00 , after which the lobby bar remains open . On Thursday 5 September , there will be two more presentations :

• 13.45-14.30 - Small Pharma 2024 : What You Need to Do to File an IND The evening beach party takes place from 17.30 to 20.00 and the lobby bar remains open to 23.00 . There is no further content on Friday 6 September but the exhibit halls and private meeting rooms will be open until 12.00 ●
