Shortened lead times
In addition to Sinocompound ’ s expert R & D team , our new manufacturing plant ( operational since July 2022 ) was designed with flexibility and speed in mind to shorten lead times and prevent delays . It has more than twenty 100L reactors in the R & D facilities for products that do not require a tech transfer to produce large batches , leading to quick scale-up and the capability to run batches in parallel . Sinocompound also provides catalyst screening kits and services to accelerate ideal catalyst identification .
Logistical issues can lengthen timelines , especially because some catalysts are difficult to store and transport . Faced with these issues , Sinocompound has in some cases commercialised catalyst derivatives that are more stable and easier to handle and store .
Sustainability
Platinum-group metal ( PGM ) catalysts are efficient and effective . However , many researchers are turning to non- PGM catalysis for more sustainable alternatives . Sinocompound has expertise in both PGM and non-PGM catalysts and ligands , and can provide the ideal compound for the needs of any manufacturing campaign .
Preformed catalysts and on-cycle intermediates are a growing area of sustainability research , as they can lead to milder reaction conditions and lower catalyst loading .
