The second ChemUK has a new venue in September

Following its highly successful launch in Harrogate in 2019 and the postponement of last year ’ s follow-up due to the COVID-19 pandemic , ChemUK 2021 will take place in Hall 1 of the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham , the UK ’ s largest exhibition site , on 15-16 September . The show will be open from 09.00 to 17.00 on the first day and 09.00 to 16.00 on the second . The organisers , UK Industry Events , describe ChemUK as “ the UK ’ s only trade show dedicated to bringing together the multi-layer chemicals and chemical product development , specification , processing and manufacturing communities , with crucial supply chain supplier groups ”. The show floor will have over 350 exhibitors from the areas of :

• Plants & equipment
• Chemicals , ingredients & raw materials
• HSEQR
• Logistics
• Specialist services Part of this is the Chemsource zone , relating specifically to the supply chain for and sourcing of speciality chemicals , formulation ingredients and additives , and raw materials , including green chemistry ingredients . New product demonstrations and
brand launches are also expected to take place live at the show . Alongside this , there is a two-day speaker programme across four stages covering the latest supply chain intelligence , tech insight , best practice , case studies and solutions updates . This includes keynote speakers and panel sessions arranged by the ChemUK steering committee and supporting industry bodies . In all , there will be over 35 hours of content and over 140 different speakers . A full schedule will be available nearer the time but the confirmed speakers include figures from :
• Major trade bodies , such as the Chemical Industries Association , Chemical Business Association , the British Pest Control Association , the Solvents Industry Association and the British Contract Manufacturers & Packers Association
