Boston welcomes ChemCon The Americas
The latest iteration of the world ’ s largest series of conferences on chemical control legislation takes place in one of the US ’ s great cities in March
The Americas version of the world ’ s most important global conference series in the field of chemical control regulation returns on 10-14 March , when ChemCon The Americas 2025 takes place at the Hilton Boston Park Plaza . Guestrooms at a special discounted rate of $ 209 / night have been reserved at the venue .
Like all the ChemCon shows , which also rotate around Europe and Asia , ChemCon The Americas 2025 is a global platform , bringing together experts representing companies , authorities and international organisations from over 25 countries , including scientists , lawyers and politicians , to discuss issues in chemical control . As ever , the programme has been developed in consultation with an expert advisory committee from authorities and industry .
The presentations will focus on international chemical regulations all over the world , like TSCA , EU-REACH , GHS and country-specific information on new chemical notification , chemical inventories , existing chemical assessment , classification and labelling , hazard communication , product registration and risk assessment .
The three main days of conference are bookended by workshops and seminars . On ' Sustainable Wednesday ', the focus shifts slightly to sharing experiences for a more sustainable , transparent and circular value chain . Alongside all this , there will be a small exhibition mainly populated by regulatory consultants , CROs and IT compliance systems providers . In addition , there is a social event for more relaxed networking on the evening of Wednesday 12 .
The week begins with a workshop on ‘ Regulatory monitoring ’ from 7.30 to 9.15 on Monday 10 March . Attendance is complimentary for those who have also booked the seminars and / or any conference sessions . The day continues with two seminars on the following subjects , both of which are charged at € 400 :
• 9.30-13.00 : Risk assessment , management & mitigation in the supply chain including data sharing & data management around the globe
• 14.00-18.30 : Latin America & GHS in the Americas The next three days will see a series of 12 themed sessions containing 20-30 minute expert presentations , with time built in for Q & A at the end . They are also charged at € 400 or all 12 for € 2,950 . Times and subjects are as follows :

• 10.45-13.00 : Product sustainability assessment - The substitution to safer alternatives
• 14.00-16.00 : Sustainability ambitions & consequences in the value chain
• 16.30-18.45 : Technological developments supporting sustainability implementation
Thursday 13 March :
• 8.00-10.15 : Chemical control legislation in the Asia-Pacific region
• 10.45-13.15 : Global approach to data sharing , new chemicals & polymers
• 14.15-16.15 : Risk assessment & hazard communication
• 16.45-19.00 : European updates
