Innovations at Vitrum 2025
Idrotecnica will be attending the 2025 edition of Vitrum Milano showing the full range of its water demineralisers specifically engineered for the glass working sector.
The most popular demineraliser models of the IDRO RO range will be exhibited in the 130, 300, 1,450 and 6,000 litres per hour versions. The activated carbon quartzite filters of the WSE Filter series will be also showcased, whose compactness, efficiency and ease of maintenance are now undisputed features that have brought increasing success. The modular design of this model makes it possible to cover numerous recirculation applications in flat glass washing machines, whether incorporated into an IG line or placed at the end side of an edge processing machine. The company stand will also accommodate the range of twostage demineralisers, IDRO RO DPS, producing water with even higher purity degree to meet the quality and precision requirements in downstream glass working processes.
This new range does not replace the existing ones but includes a greater number of models to meet more specific needs. In fact, depending on:- type of downstream glass working processes( automotive, low- E, laminated, coated, tempered glass, etc.),- operating regime of the glass processing machine,- feed water properties, Idrotecnica will propose the best and most reliable solution in customised configuration.
Idrotecnica will also bring tried and tested Industry 4.0 solutions for the remote monitoring and control of demineralisation plants. The combination of high-performance sensors and industry 4.0 PLCs allows for systems with advanced diagnostics to help plan maintenance in advance and prevent malfunctions.
