Aderisce a Confindustria e Federmacchine e nella sua attività ha raggiunto un elevatissimo grado di rappresentatività dell’ intera filiera della lavorazione del vetro, assumendo un insostituibile ruolo nei confronti di tutte le istituzioni pubbliche e private. Il fatturato delle aziende associate a GIMAV costituisce, infatti, circa il 75-’ 80 % del turnover totale del settore ed il 65-70 % dell’ export totale dei produttori italiani di macchine, accessori e prodotti speciali destinati alla lavorazione del vetro.
