The 2023 edition of the Vitrum show marks a milestone in the lives of two long-standing Italian companies which have been implementing vertical software systems in the glass sector for years .
Following the last few years during which the collaboration has gradually increased along with the equity stakes , we are now pleased to announce that the integration process has been completed , leading to the recent merger by incorporation of RO into Optima . This incorporation , in a broader vision , is the result of the recent entry , in the share capital of Optima , of the Zucchetti Spa group , an undisputed leader in the field of ERP software in Italy , and of the desire of Zucchetti itself to create a single world-class glasswork software vendor based in Italy . The aim
is to combine the respective skills gained over 30 years in business in order both to improve current products , drawing on what has already been done by and Optima , and to create new software solutions in the medium term , increasingly advanced and performing , fully integrated with the many products available in the Zucchetti range such as accounting , logistics and transport , CRM , attendance control , tracking hardware and much more . Therefore , many novelties are expected to come up in the next months , and already from this fair an initial synergy has emerged in the geolocation of vehicles and above all of racks . Through a partnership with another company of the Zucchetti group ( GuardOne Italia ) we are now able to offer Fleet Management Web services that can be integrated into the company ERP system and it is possible to meet the needs of those glassworks that need to manage operations and information from its vehicles . In addition to the possibility of tracking the vehicles used for deliveries with GPS systems directly integrated on the vehicle through self-powered GPS ( connected to the Glonass system ), it will also be possible to know exactly the location of each shipping rack . Thanks to this dedicated Web application , which can be integrated with Opty-Way Enterpirse ERP range and Perfect ERP , it will be possible to monitor the location of each single rack , track its movements and generate alerts in the event that the rack is detected in areas other than those associated with the customer where the rack has been delivered . The rack location can be viewed on interactive maps , supplied by Google and PTV , allowing users to identify the racks to be retrieved along the way and / or to create paths dedicated to the collection of racks available for return .
