Swisspacer introduces Frame: racer, its new service for the automated production of spacer bar frames during the assembly process

Developed in cooperation with an established OEM partner, this solution expands the company’ s role from warm edge specialist and component supplier to a process partner for more efficient, repeatable, and scalable insulating glass production. Production facilities are facing increasing pressure. Limited space and growing demands for speed and process reliability require solutions that can stabilize production steps without compromising quality. This is exactly where Frame: racer comes in. The machine automates the entire frame manufacturing process, from profile feeding and frame assembly to filling with desiccant. The result is a Swisspacer frame ready for further processing on the insulating glass line, produced in less than 20 seconds under standard conditions. The strength of the solution lies not only in its speed. Frame: racer is designed to ensure dimensional accuracy, consistent quality, and continuous production flow. While many systems perform best with uniform production sequences, the Swisspacer solution enables a fully automated one-piece flow even when frame sizes vary from one order to the next.
