Rcn Solutions : revving up the engines for Glasstec 2024
Glasstec represents a very important event , the international showcase of the glass industry . It is an opportunity for machines manufactures to present their latest technologies , to confirm their policies and listen to different customer ’ s requirements .
With this in mind , RCN Solutions is getting ready for this exhibition focusing on different proposals , facing demand for customers ’ production increase , oversize machines , compact solutions or different machines combinations . If on one hand , the company will be exhibiting its long-standing bending , lamination and tempering lines , on the other it has also designed and developed customized solutions , especially aimed to increase or diversify production . 2024 is the turning point year for RCN Solutions : the new team of the R & D department is working on new production layout to take a step further in technology and development . A step planned for some time and that has been made possible thanks to the new generation joining the company . A rotary bending system is the first project of RCN on its way to evolution . Ordered mid 2023 by an Italian customer , this plant - with an overall of 9700x12800xh3800mm consists of 4 positions : loading / unloading ; heating , bending and cooling - was delivered and installed in January 2024 . It is currently working on shifts for special curved glass . This system has met with great success and has increased the company ’ s visibility , and new requests for similar layouts are coming in . A new step is also in progress in lamination , after the issue of Multiplied , which combines kilns sizes in multiples of three by two meters . The latest version includes new features that will be unveiled at our booth during the show . The main proposal starts from RCN ’ s complete production concept named ISF , Intregal Sequencing Framework , including bending , tempering and lamination machines , sizes and position to be decided by the customers . And whose final purpose is the manufacturing of safety glass . The ECO SPECIAL bending line is designed for the creation of special , complex curves : it is equipped with independent heating zones : 6 , 8 , 10 or more , depending on the machine ’ s sizes .
