On September 20th , under the motto “ Let ’ s go live ”, the 26th edition of Glasstec , the international biennial event dedicated to the glass industry , will open its doors . After two postponements due to the world health situation , Glasstec resumes its role of a forum bringing together the different facets of the glass industry . RCN will be participating with many hot themes , things to tell and products to show .
For this edition , RCN will leave its traditional stand area position in order to join the Gimav booth where all the excellences of Made in Italy will be showcased . On an exhibition area of 174 square meters , RCN will not fail to introduce and describe the technological innovations developed over the last two years , such as the new Multiplied laminating line that with its versatility makes it possible to build machinery beyond the oversize , and offer IT services aimed to control the production management and machinery operation . Three families of ma- chinery : bending , laminating and chemical tempering represent a great opportunity to complete the lineup of machines for every glassworks , from the smallest to the largest , as well as being a factor of diversification and added value for customer products . Our proposal , called ISF - Integrated Sequence Framework , is a complete turnkey layout for the production of safety glass .
REVA BF We cannot talk about safety glass without thinking of a fundamental product , REVA BF , RCN ’ s interlayer film for laminated glass that has more than doubled sales all over the world in the last two years . In fact , REVA BF has distinguished itself as a high-quality product capable of meeting the most challenging lamination demands . With an adhesion of 12kg / cm ² on glass , REVA BF also stands out for its remarkable light transmission capacity (> 91 %) and for the use of always fresh raw materials , of excellent quality , supplied by international companies such as Dupont , without resin recycling , an important aspect for the quality of the results . Available in different sizes and thicknesses for small and large production runs and with new certificates from the Rosenheim Institute . The visitors will be able to discover options for machinery upgrades and automation , jumbo sizes and - very important - an absolute innovation launched in spring 2021 : RD CLEAN CONCEPT , a method for producing clean edges at the end of the laminating process , studied , tested and offered by RCN ( patent pending ). This method , exclusive to RCN , has met with great attention and approval . Thanks to RD Clean Concept it is no longer necessary to remove excess EVA film from the edges after lamination , with a consequent savings on time and labour . Not only that , since the customer do not even need sharp tools or implements to clean and finish the edges , so that there are less risk of injury and more safety for the operator .
