TP Compact : the revolution in glass tempering

The new TP Compact glass tempering furnace is a product of which we are particularly proud because we have succeeded in completely disrupting the traditional conception of tempering furnaces , which normally makes them perceived as beyond the possibilities of a small or medium-sized glassworks . This machine best embodies all of our values and all of the company ’ s strengths , as well as all of the advantages that our customers have come to appreciate the most . What preconceptions have we demolished ? Here are them in detail

We believe that the furnace must work for the glassworks , not the other way around . The TP Compact is a compact furnace with variable load sizes , ranging from 1300x3200 to 1900x3600 ( 1.3 metres x 3.2 metres and 1.9 metres x 3.6 metres ), with some sizes in between . The total length of the plant is approximately 17 / 18 metres , depending on the various types , and the entire electrical system but especially the fan cabin is located next to the machine , with no need for installations outside the plant . The TP Compact is the only furnace of its kind designed for small and medium-sized glassworks , which do not have a production volume that would justify the purchase of a classic 2500x5000 tempering furnace . At the moment , the trend in the market is to offer larger machines , often with lower quality components and at reduced prices . The apparent savings , however , are quickly nullified , between installation costs that require significant adaptation work in one ’ s own factory and energy costs that soar , especially with classic hardening furnaces that must be kept on constantly , to avoid the damage caused by large temperature variations and also prohibitive start-up times .

TEMPERING FURNACES CAN- NOT BE TURNED OFF This is one of the main problems that lead small and medium-sized glassworks not to purchase tempering furnaces . If the furnace cannot be turned off and therefore consumes constantly , the only way to justify the costs is to make it work in a continuous cycle , which would mean , in some cases , distorting the normal production of the glassmaker . Mazzaroppi has solved this problem with the TP Compact , which can be switched off every day and which takes just one hour to reach the necessary temperature of 680 ° once it has been switched on - a time that drops to half an hour if the furnace has been working the previous day . This makes it possible to optimise consumption , keeping the oven on only when actually needed , when the machine is producing and therefore generating value . In terms of energy optimisation , this model is perhaps our greatest success to date . With the new TP
